Frank’s Honey Grillin’ Glaze

Are you looking for ways to sweeten your summer BBQ?  Well, then you should try Frank’s Honey Grillin’ Glaze.  Sometimes during the hot summer months when my family is outside, we want to grill, but we’re not in the mood for anything heavy.  Instead, we want something that’s healthy, refreshing and tastes amazing.  That’s why we developed our own grilling glaze that uses Frank’s Honey.  It always tastes great and compliments everything we put it on.

Frank's Honey Grillin' Glaze

Our favorite grilled delight that goes perfect with Frank’s Honey Grillin’ Glaze is chicken, strawberry, cherry tomato, and pineapple kebobs.  (But you can substitute any of your favorite fruits or vegetables.)  We simply cube the chicken and fresh pineapple, wash the cherry tomatoes, clean and remove the stems from the farm fresh strawberries, then simply alternate the ingredients, securing them onto wooden skewers. (TIP:  Remember to soak the wooden skewers in water for 2-3 hours beforehand.).

Preheat your grill to 475 F, as the kabobs won’t take long to cook and you want your grill hot enough to get the nice golden grill marks on them.

As soon as you place the kabobs on the grill, immediately coat them with Frank’s Honey Grillin’ Glaze.  Turn the kabobs every 1-2 minutes, making sure you’re coating all sides of the kabobs with the grillin’ glaze.

Once the chicken has turned a golden brown, and reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees, you know they’re done.  The total cooking time is less than 10 minutes.  Now it’s time to enjoy a sweet summertime treat!

RECIPE:

  • 1 Cup of Frank’s Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons of Aged Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

Combine all the ingredients into a bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.  (TIP: After you’ve thoroughly mixed all the ingredients, let the glaze sit outside by the grill.  By warming up, it will spread easier and faster.)
